Finished, just in time for fall!

It is cool outside, and now I have the perfect cardigan to wear as the weather begins changing!

Click the pictures for the enormous versions. I mean really huge, ya’ll.

Pattern: Tangled Yoke Cardigan by Eunny Jang, from Fall 2007 IK
Started:S August 23, 2007
Finished: September 15, 2007 (dang, that was fast!)
Yarn: Jojoland 100% wool in the Charcoal color way

Needles: Size 3 Crystal Palace bamboo circulars, size 2 Susan Bates circulars, size 3 Crystal Palace DPNs
Modifications: Row gauge was off, so many calculations were done to accommodate my gauge. Fortunately, this wasn’t too hard! Obviously, I made mine a 3/4 sleeve number, which is the biggest change from the original pattern.

Notes: I couldn’t be more pleased with how this turned out, ya’ll! It is warm and cozy, fits perfectly, and looks totally not handmade. The cable part is actually quite easy once you learn how to read the different symbols, and since it’s only about 16 or so rows, it just flies by!

I sewed a strip of material along the back of the button band for reinforcement. I love how the blue looks with the woodsy brown of the yarn.

If you’re thinking about knitting this one, go for it! It is well worth the effort for this simple and sophisticated little number. I am incredibly pleased with how mine turned out, and in fact, I’m about to wear it out to the grocery store!
